3. Crumbcake Lefty

On Sunday the first Wisconsin State Bison shoot with 45 single action revolvers was held. There were plenty of Bison to shoot at, the Montana format was used and the shooters had a blast. The top five Men and Woman received awards with the top three in each class receiving some $$. Oh, One Shot Barney (13 yr. old youth) was thewinner on Sunday. He shot more Bison then any other shooter. Pistol Patty was the top Woman shooter on Sunday. Congratulations to all the shooters.

- THE 2011 Montana State and ACQDA World Finals were held on September 9th Montana State, and September 10th World shoot. The Montana State Shoot and the ACQDA World Shoot were both held behind Mikes Shop due to the spring flood. There were approximately 25 shooters in all. Shooters came in from Wyoming, South Dakota, Idaho and Montana. The Bull Mountain Drifters made arrangements with a local caterer to serve lunch on Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Saturday evening free to the competitors. The weather was good for the shoot and the shooters had a good time. We did have a few injuries during the shoot as someone uncovered a nest of bees and just plum made them mad so a few stings had to be doctored up. Roger stopped and bought a new hat which we attribute to his placing first in the state. Jim bob limped around for most of the shoot but still managed to put on a good show and take first in the world. Clint showed his lightning speed during the State and World but the targets kept moving and Rogers heckling kept him out of first place. Can't imagine what the trip back home was like with these guys in the same car. We think Jim Bobs limp rubbed off on Shane because he started limping around too. Anyway everybody seemed to have a good time and we are looking forward to having all those guys and the gals back again in 2012.
